Gulf Rubber (M) Sdn Bhd is one of the prominent quality tyre retreading company in East Malaysia. The principle business activity is recycling of tyre casings into high quality retreaded tyres that can deliver as much reliability, durability and perform as a new tyre.

The factory is located at Lot 2, Jalan Bakau, Off Jalan Undan, Mile 5 ½, Jalan Tuaran, 88450 Inanam, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The factory complex occupies an area of about 2 acres.

Gulf Rubber Suntex Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 2006 in the state of Sabah. It is one of the subsidiary company to Sun Organization in Seremban. The principle business activity is the marketing arm in distributing retreaded tyres through its dedicated network in East Malaysia. Our retreaded tyres ranging from light commercial vehicle tyres to heavy truck and bus tyres. Each and every of our retreaded tyres is designed to reduce the total commercial vehicle operating cost, reduce scrap tyre disposal and save natural resources and energy.

The Company Director cum Group Chairman is Mr MS Loh, who is the founder of Sun Organization has been very keen to exploy the business opportunities in East Malaysia since 1957. He has done lots of research of East Malaysia’s market for retread tyre and there is always been a shortage of supply. Hence, he decided to invest a new retread tyre factory in 2006.

The initial cold cured procure production capacity is estimated to be more than 3,000 pieces retread tyres per month and this has been increased to 7,000 pieces per month recently. The tyre casings of good quality are mostly imported from Japan, Taiwan and other countries.

The present factory has manpower of 60 employees which run 2 shifts of daily production as to cope with present Sabah and Sarawak market demand.

The Company is also being certified with MS224 in year 2009 with integrated quality control of our products in line with the commitment to our customers’ satisfaction, more importantly for their road safety through the quality retreaded tyres. In addition, GRM is also working towards the ISO certification in the immediate future.

The Company over the years has developed its distinctive strategy in marketing its products in Sabah through its stage of art technology tyre retreading processes. Most importantly is to gain a strong force of retreads market throughout East Malaysia. GRM has now slowly developed its base and become one of the well known reputable quality tyre retreader in East Malaysia.
