Saiko Rubber, the Winner of Enterprise 50 Award 2003

Saiko Rubber (M) Sdn Bhd has emerged as the winner of the prestigious 2003 Enterprise 50 Award 2003. It is another great achievement as Saiko has just been recently awarded the Golden Bull Award 2003 in June 2003.
Enterprise 50 is an annual award programme that recognizes the various achievements, improvements and outstanding performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Enterprise 50 also reflects the company’s global vision of contributing positively to the community it operates in.
Enterprise 50 is jointly organised by Smidec and Accenture, with RHB Bank Bhd as the official supporting sponsor and Business Times as the official publication. Besides Malaysia, a similar programme is being run in Indonesia and Singapore annually.
Business Times ran a special publication of all winners on 24th October 2003.
Of the 50 award winners this year, 68% are from manufacturing sector, followed by services sector (12%) and information and communication technology constituting about 8%.
The Enterprise 50 Award Presentation was held at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel on 23rd October 2003. Guest of Honour, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin, Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs accompanied by Mr Larry Gan, Accenture Country Managing Director presented The 2003 Enterprise 50 Award trophies to the 50 winners on that historic night. Mr Steven Gan represented Saiko Rubber to receive the 2003 Enterprise 50 award.
