Saiko Rubber, the Winner of Golden Bull Award 2003

Saiko Rubber (M) Sdn Bhd was awarded the prestigious Golden Bull Award 2003 - Malaysia 100 Outstanding SMEs. It is a great achievement as Saiko was only established in 1990.

The Golden Bull Award Presentation was held at the renowned Putra World Trade Center on the 11th July 2003. Guest of Honour are:-

  • YB Dato’ Chan Kong Choy, Minister of Transport Malaysia flanked by Mr Lee Peck Hoo
  • Director and CEO of Nanyang Siang Pau
  • Yang Bahagia Dato’ Kamal M. Hashim, Chairman of Expomal Network Sdn Bhd
  • Mr Michael Ho, Organizing Chairman of Golden Bull Award 2003

Mr Michale Ho presented The Golden Bull Award 2003 trophies to the 100 winners on that historic night.

Golden Bull Award - Malaysia 100 Outstanding SMEs is an annual programme organized by leading Malaysia’s Chinese Daily, Nanyang Siang Pau and co-organised by The Asia Pacific Centre for SMEs and Nanyang Online.

The main purpose of this annual programme is to recognize the achievements of Malaysia Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which formed a massive 93.8% of all establishments in the Malaysia manufacturing sector.

Aimed at providing a platform to benchmark the successful SMEs while inspiring others to strive towards better performance and achievements in the current competitive global market through modern management skills, research and development, training, higher productivity and quality, etc.

The nominations for the Golden Bull Award were audited by Ernst & Young and the final list of winning companies were endorsed by the independent panel of judges led by Yang Bahagia Datuk David Chua, Deputy Secretary General of The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia.
