3 Days Tyre Expo (Johannesburg, Africa)

This year, Sun Rubber Industry Sdn Bhd have participated in the Tyrexpo 06’ which was held at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg Africa. Sun Rubber received numerous enquiries from Kenya, Mauritius, and also from other countries includes India & Middle East. The exhibition started from 12th September 06’ - 14th September 06’.

Sun Rubber is one of the largest rubber compound manufacturer from Malaysia. The company manufacture high quality rubber compound for the retreading industry. Sun Rubber supplies its rubber compound to overseas customers to more than 30 countries worldwide includes Asia Pacific, Europe & Middle East.

The products that Sun Rubber manufacture includes precured tread liner, cushion gum, orbi-strip, camelback, repair rope and other technical rubber compound for the used in the automotive industries.

Sun Rubber Industry has won numerous prestigious awards such as “The Golden Bull Award” which is audited
by Ernst & Young, presented by Nanyang Siang Pau, “ The Enterprise 50 Award” organized by SMIDEC &
Delloitte, and the “ Best brand name Award” is being awarded to Sun Rubber Industry Sdn Bhd by the “Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia” in recognition for having achieved the best brand name among all other rubber manufacturer from Malaysia.

Sun Rubber are proud to announce on the new mixing line with the addition of a new 270 liter banbury. This has tremendously increased the output of the company’s production capacity. With the additional mixing line, Sun Rubber Industry are able to produce more than 1800 metric tons of rubber compound per month from the current factory location in Seremban, Malaysia.

Sun Rubber is also looking into other possible joint venture for both locally and overseas. Sun Rubber believes

Sun Rubber R&D team are actively involve in the continuous research and development of its products and compound formulation so that we will continue to improve on the formula we have developed in the past and will continue to improve to meet the high market demand for better quality rubber compound.
