Memorable Award Night at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC)

The night of 24th November 2006 was another memorable night for Sun Rubber Malaysia. The eventful night was held at “Putrajaya International Convention Centre ( PICC )”. Sun Rubber Malaysia has won another prestigeous award following the 3 awards awarded to Sun Rubber last year.
This SMB award is organised by ( SMI ) Small and medium Industries, the core organiser for this event is Sin Chew Daily , the biggest Chinese Newspaper circulated in Malaysia and the independant Auditor for this award is Howart.
Sun Rubber Malaysia has been awarded the SMB Best Overall Award 2006.. The defination for this award is bestowed on the cream-dela-cream of non-listed SMBs that excel in every aspect of their coporate performance.
The selection criterias :
Nominess must performed extremely and equally well in all five core judging criteria, namely business and company, management philosophies, products and markets, operations and technologies as well as financial performance. Nomination is required.
Sun Rubber has also won several other awards last year such as :
- The Golden Bull Award ( The award is organised by Expomal, presented by Nanyang Siang Pau and Ministry of International Trade & Industry, audited by Ernst & Young.
- The Enterprise 50 ( The award is organised by SMIDEC ( Small and Medium Industries Development Corporation)& Deloitte Kassim and Chan and Deloitte and Touche ( collectively hereinafter referred to as Deloitte Malaysia ).
- The Best Brand name Award ( awarded by The Rubber Research Institude of Malaysia ).

the manufacturing of rubber compound for the tyre retreading industries for more than 4 decades. Sun Rubber
Industry Sdn Bhd has been exporting to more than 30 countries such as Japan, Korea, Australia, United Kingdom,
United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Africa, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore.
