SUN Organization Celebrates 50th Anniversary

This year 2007 is a great milestone for Sun Organization Group of companies: it marks the 50th Anniversary Celebrations. To commemorate this special occasion a celebration was held at Allson Klana Hotel Resort in Seremban on 3rd February 2007.

Over 1000 employees and guest were invited to attend this special event. Our Group Chairman and his immediate family members gathered together with the management staff were at the entrance to welcome all employees and guest.

Special arrangement with the lion dance performer and the God of Wealth were at the entrance to distribute the mandarin oranges to usher in the auspicious Chinese New Year 2007.

The celebration kick off at 6:30 pm and our Group Chairman Mr.Loh Moi Sung gave his speech and announce the slogan of the year “Jubilant 50 Drive to Greater Heights” which the wording gave great meaning to Sun Organization as our company drives to greater heights with the newly set-up retread plant Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Mr.Loh Moi Sung ( Our Group Chairman ) congratulated the management for the success of 3 companies, namely Sun Tyre, Sun Rubber and Saiko Rubber for achieving the SMB Brand Excellance Award, SMBs overall Excellance Award and SMBs Product Excellance Award and our Chaiman was happy with the performance of the rubber and plastic division. However, he reminded all employees that the competitive challenges that our Group might face in the near future.

Mr. Loh Moi Sung ( Our Group Chairman ) officiated the opening with remarkable traditional dance, the sound of drums and symbols filled the entire ballroom as the lion dancers thrilled our guest with the movement of the lion dancers. Following the lion dance performance, we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the group with cake cutting session and Happy Birthday song were also sung.

We celebrated the 50th Anniversary to recognize our past, present and for our future. It was in this spirit that all employees were present to celebrate this occasion.

The unforgettable and touching moments was the appreciation and tokens for the pioneer retired employees of the Group to show that our Group Chaiman Mr.Loh Moi Sung though busy with his busy schedule but he never forgot the retirees and the contribution they have put in to the company previously.
