JKJR visit Sun Tyre Industry

The Malaysia Road Safety Department (JKJR) recently visited Sun Tyre Industries Sdn Bhd Bhd in Seremban as part of their nationwide “Your Car is Only As Safe As Your Tyres” campaign.

Sun Tyre Industries was the first recipient of the prestigious product certification licence, Malaysia Standard MS224:2005, specification for Retreaded Pneumatic Rubber Tyres for Commercial Vehicles. They are the largest tyre retreading company in Malaysia producing in the region of 30,000 tyres per month.

The poor condition of tyres contributes to 10 - 15% of road accidents annually in Malaysia and we want to take immediate action to minimize it.
