Quality Control

As a recognition of the company’s commitment towards high quality manufacturing process, Sun Rubber Industry Sdn. Bhd. (’Sun Rubber”) was accredited with ISO 9002:1994 by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd (SIRIM) in the early 1990’s which was then upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 in 1995.

The accreditations signify the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) compliance with the international standards set by SIRIM Berhad.

The entire manufacturing and processing process, from acceptance of raw materials to production process, and the final delivery of finished products, is carefully monitored and under stringent quality control measures to ensure compliance with the required International standards.

Finished goods from each production batch are tested in the laboratory to ensure that the products conform to the standards of our customers’ specifications. The routine quality control measures include rheological, viscosity, hardness, specific gravity and tensile testing.
